This and That Friday

Not much going on here at the homeplace, been making dolls and things for my selling blog. I did get out and have some much needed me time today. I went by Michaels to see what they had and found these paper mache pumpkins 80% off. I ended up paying 43 cents each!! I went by a few thrift shops but had no luck finding anything, whine!!! I stopped by my favorite quilt shop and picked up a few fat quarters. And I also stopped by my favorite antique mall, of couse i saw lots of goodies there, but not in my budget for today! I was wanting some larger wooden bowls but no luck. I saw a set of bowls there a few weeks ago but they were no where to be seen today!

Yesterday i managed to get a makeover done, this bench had been out on my porch painted like a flag, well i really needed something to go in front the windows in the dining room and this seem to be the perfect solution as i can also use it for extra seating at the dining table. I had move things around which left this spot bare, cant have that!

Before:

And After....

See i am wanting some larger bowls to fill my wood box there....
I am sure i will be doing some tweaking, i really must make myself a doll for that chair!
Oh i almost forgot someone had ask me about the pattern i used for the stitchery i attached to my wood ironing board, it was a pattern from Country Rustic Primitives.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
