Whatcha Working on Wednesday

While it has been months since i have been apart of "Whatcha Working on Wednesday"
Feels good to be back doing what i love!! The projects got put on the back burner, but i am back in the game now!
I bought this from Home Interiors back in the early 90's, decided it was just too country for my taste and needed a prim touch!

That is just one of many things i have going on right now, I have been working on some signs that i am doing for a swap, working on a stitchery, and my mama has some things lined up for me to do as well!

Long Time, No Post!!

Hi all, I am still around and doing pretty good these days. Turns out i did have an ulcer!! But i am on meds and they are helping alot. I feel like i am finally finding myself since the surgery, I had no idea that it would take so long and so much adjusting!
I decided to share some photos with you...

This was taken in April a few days before surgery...

And this was taken June 14th...


Almost 60 pounds later, things seem to be getting back to normal, Whatever normal is, LOL! This is just a quick post to let you all know how i am and that i miss all my blogging friends. Hugs!!

Please Forgive Me....

I am so sorry for going so long without a post, but the past few weeks have been so hard on me!
I started feeling more like myself on Mother's Day weekend, until i got sick on that Sunday evening after eating supper, that was just the beginning!! I got sick a few times last week no matter what i ate! I went to the doctors Friday morning, and they think i may have an ulcer!
I go tomorrow to have a light ran to see if that is the case. He started me on ulcer meds already, but have not helped that much so far.

I want to send an apology to those who have emailed me with questions, and i havn't gotten back to you. I just have not felt like being on the computer much, but i saved the emails and will get back to you soon as i can.

As i feel like being on the puter more, i will share my feelings of what i have been through over the last six weeks since the surgery. What a huge ball of emotions!!!

Another Update on ME...

I had an doctors appointment today and all went well, they removed a drainage tube, so one down and one to go! I have another appointment in 2 weeks, i think the other tube will get removed then, I hope so anyway. I am now able to start on some soft high protein foods, so at least i get alittle something to eat. The hard part is drinking, I need to take sips instead of actual drinking. But i am learning!
I am not able to swallow any type of pills, so my meds must be crushed. Well, I have not been taking my Effexor because the type i had, when crushed was terrible!! Come to find out they should not be crushed!! Someone @ the hospital dropped the ball there!! No worries, I got that straightened out and am back on my meds as of today, so hopefully in a few days i will be back to me, I just dont like who i am without my medication, things go much smoother with them!!
Oh i almost forgot, I have lost a total of 26lbs. since starting the shakes before the sugery! I can tell my breathing is already better!!!
That's it for now, Hopefully i well feel like doing some light projects soon, I have been thinking of all the things i want to do, just waiting for my body to catch up with my mind, LOL!
